chinese new year with the cousins

cousins celebrated the second day of the chinese new year at my place.
seabass was the first well-wisher.














one of my favourite childhood pictures- me and seabass as kids.

don't know which idiot (bad feeling this was me) thought it would be fun recreating the picture. out came the props and the cameras. more than four attempts and we weren't even close to getting this halfway right. so ignore the expressions and focus on the technical precision.

Attempt #1: FAIL.
indoors, not outdoors.
fork and toy, not yeoh's drink.
hand by side, not between legs.
WRONG DIRECTION!!!

Attempt #2: FAIL.
fork and toy, not green highlighter.
hand by side, not behind.
WRONG DIRECTION!!!

Attempt #3: FAIL.
fork and toy, not fork and rocher.
arms too high.
hand by side, not on thigh.


Attempt #4: PASS.
the irony! the one technically-precise picture turned out blur.

so.

we gave up. and watched i not stupid too.
all of them cried! i did not. i not stupid. i so cool.

our moms like to say me-peiming and wanling-peiwen look more like sisters.

doesn't matter. we're all family. =)
